Join the Coolidge Foundation’s next virtual event, Thursday, June 4, at 12:00 PM EDT, to discuss the 1924 election, including the famously split 100-plus ballot Democratic National Convention and the equally historic rift in the GOP. Covering it all will be author Garland Tucker who has chronicled the 1924 election in his book The High Tide of American Conservatism: Davis, Coolidge, and the 1924 Election. Mr. Tucker has also written on the 1924 nominating conventions for the Coolidge Quarterly. Mr. Tucker will be interviewed by Coolidge Foundation chair and presidential biographer Amity Shlaes.
