Naturalization Ceremony

“Patriotism is easy to understand in America; it means looking out for yourself by looking out for your country.” Calvin Coolidge

President Calvin Coolidge understood the value of patriotism. Join us here at the Coolidge Foundation where we’ll welcome America’s newest citizens in an official naturalization ceremony.

On August 11 at 1:00 PM twenty immigrants from 16 different countries will take the oath of allegiance and become citizens of the United States of America. This is the first time this ceremony will take place at the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site in Plymouth Notch. Jennifer Sayles Harville, the great-granddaughter of Calvin and Grace Coolidge, will sing the National Anthem. Our partner is the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Honorable John M. Conroy, U.S. Magistrate Judge, will preside over the ceremony.

The ceremony is open to the public and will be followed by a light reception. We invite you to participate in this wonderful and moving occasion!
