The Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation was established in 1960 by a group of Coolidge enthusiasts with a shared passion and purpose – to remedy the fact that there didn’t exist a federally funded library for our country’s 30th President. Sponsored and supported by a group of then current, past, and future Presidents, along with political, professional, and academic luminaries of the time, the Foundation was created to preserve the Coolidge legacy and provide educational resources to teachers, students, scholars, the media, and anyone interested in one of America’s most intriguing, and frequently misunderstood historical figures.

Today, this non-profit, non-partisan organization maintains its offices in the brand new President Calvin Coolidge Museum and Education Center, located on the grounds of the beautiful President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, Vermont – the home town of Coolidge’s youth – in the heart of the Green Mountains. A visit to the site will present you with a view of the past, and its relevance to the present, and you may just find yourself transformed into one of the growing number of new and future Coolidge enthusiasts.
