Arthur E. Crowley, Jr.

Arthur E. Crowley, Jr. enjoyed a long and prominent legal career in Vermont. He served as the Deputy Attorney General for the State of Vermont and was the President of the Rutland County Bar Association.

Art had deep roots in the Vermont community and was deeply involved throughout his life with efforts to ensure students received the highest quality education possible.

Art had a passion for sharing the story and legacy of Calvin Coolidge and was a driving force in ensuring Coolidge’s legacy was known by more Vermonters and more Americans. Art was involved with the Coolidge Foundation in varying capacities for many decades, including service as a trustee and Secretary of the Board. In 2014, the Board voted unanimously to bestow upon Art the honor of Emeritus Trustee. Art passed from this life in August 2019. He was a dear friend and will be missed greatly.
