Degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University; served in the Army Air Force as a pilot and aide-de-camp.
Now retired as VP with Sheraton Hotel’s International Division.
Married to Dr. Nance Fain Kittner, Academic Dean, College of St.Joseph, Rutland, VT.
Since moving to Vermont he has been associated with the following organizations: Trustee and President Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation; Board member serving on Building and Planning Committee College of St. Joseph; Deacon Grace Congregational Church; Trustee Vermont Library Trustees Association, member steering committee and Conference Planning Committee In the past: Board member Gilbert Hart Library , Treasurer; Rotary – Rutland City Rotary, Wallingford Rotary; member Vermont Council on the Humanities and Deacon Wallingford Congregational Church.
